I will use this section to display some of the items that I have created more recently. After a month or so, I will move them to the post that fits the genre of the piece.
RUSTIC STOP SIGNS

RUSTIC STOP SIGNS – 10/25 – I was commissioned by The Ranch Club Golf Course to make these rustic stop signs. They are to be placed along the golf cart path at each subdivision road crossing. They are made with 10″ diameter ponderosa pine rounds with the bark still attached. They are soaked in epoxy and the lettering and octagon are routed 1/4″ deep and filled with white epoxy. They are mounted on a 2″ x 24″ pole that will be placed into a PVC tube in the ground and will be removable for lawn mowing.

ROUND FRAMED FLOWERS 4.0

ROUND FRAMED FLOWERS 4.0 7/25 – The live flowers that I have used in the past did not react well to being cast into epoxy. In this batch I used silk flowers, and they hold their color and shape much better.

WALNUT CHERRY& MAPLE JEWELRY DISHES

WALNUT CHERRY & MAPLE JEWELRY DISHES – 06/25 – I made these Jewelry Dishes for sale at the Flathead Cherry Festival in Polson, MT. These smaller less expensive items sell better at local craft shows. The flower images are “laser etched” into the surface of the wood. They vary in size from 3″ to 6″ in Diameter and serve as a place on a bathroom vanity to keep jewelry overnight.
ST. IGNATIUS WALL PLAQUE

ST. IGNATIUS WALL PLAQUE 5/25 – I made this plaque of St. Ignatius of Loyola (Founder of the Jesuit Order of Priests) as a thank you gift to the Jesuit Priests of Missoula in gratitude for their service to our local Frenchtown, MT parish, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church during a period of time when, due to the current shortage of priests, we had no permanent pastor. The image of St. Ignatius is “laser etched” into a cherry background and framed with black walnut. The captions the front and back explain the purpose of the plaque.

WALNUT/CHERRY/MAPLE BOWL 2.0

WALNUT/CHERRY/MAPLE BOWL 2.0 – 04/25 – This segmented bowl is similar to the one that I recently finished. On this one I added the vertical maple pieces to the design. Altogether the bowl is comprised of 202 separate pieces of wood.
