Joe Zehnpfennig has been interested in woodworking for decades. “I got my first tools, a Circular Saw and a Jig Saw from my Dad on my 17th birthday and my interest in woodworking has never waned since.” Joe specializes in fine woodworking but is also interested in live-edge pieces, rustic furniture and unique pieces.
In 1976 Joe completed a Master of Fine Arts program at The Maryland Institute of Arts with a major in Painting. Trained as an electrician by his father, he became a Licensed Master Electrician and operated an electrical contracting business in Metro Detroit for many years. Now retired, Joe and his wife, Mary, have relocated to Northwest Montana and he spends much of his time designing and creating a variety of specialty wood pieces.
